Nice work Kipp,

I have yet to find a success story with these heavley marketed spray and hope the stain goes away products. quite a few have a strong degreaser in them that many times will further darken the shingle on an already stained roof.

I used wet and forget on my roof once and it actually worked, but it took like 3 months. Plus it costs 99pounds from the european manufacturer unless you can find it at costco for $30 US. I think it was 1.5 gallon or something. I was surprised that it worked at all really.

when i first got started i got some of the spray and reget,that was almost a year ago,i used it on my own house and to this very day it hasn't done anything to my roof,i called them about 3 months after i used it and they told me to give it 6 more months, yea right it is a joke!!!!!!!

I have never tried this, but why not take Round Up and KILL the Algae, see if it rinses away ?

Thats great Chris :) Maybe thats what it is made from. Seriously though it did work for me on a test spot, it was just real expensive. A customer of mine used it on his brick walls for years, and it kept the algae from growing back surrounding his garden. So we sold him a brick sealent instead and now he dosn't have to buy that stuff.
