Starting a roof cleaning business in Pittsburgh, Pa. Company name registered as Pittsburgh Roof Cleaners. My question to the group is, how did you begin to create your website? Did you hire a web person to develop the site.
Go to Homestead.com. Build your content! Publish! 1st 14 days is FREE to build. If you like! Publish . Then you have to pay. Not much... $Under 39.00 Just check it out...
When you are ready to upgrade either do it with their Template sites or hire them to design your site somewhere down the road. Or do what I did after 13 years with Homestaed. Hire another company to redsign and build your site... Nothing bad about Homestead. It is where I learned what I do know today!
Homestead is a great place to start because it does cost that much to build your own site and get started.
The bigest problem when you hire someone to design your site is having enough content to keep them busy.. If they have your content then they can start building on your site right away. So what ever you do have your content ready to submit before you hire someone to re dedign / design your site...
Google sites $10 per year with a domain name and email accounts and google docs.
is that with hosting and domian or just domain. Weebys like $40 and so is Webs starts out in high $40 dollars but if google charges $10 hosting and domaine that is great deal.

Easy to use but not as html friendly as I would like. Can't for instance put a paypal line because they want you to use google checkout. But I will just link to another site for that. Other than that is works good for me not knowing that much about html.
I SWEAR, if I had it to "do over" I would just get a Blogspot Blog from Google and promote IT instead of a website. The hosting is free, and you can buy custom domain for 10 bucks a year. With Picassa, you can turn out pages literally at will, and it is super easy to use.
Mine is a blogspot but I have changed the url to be a subdomain of my web site. Just had to change and add some cname records that google had instructions on.

Blogspot is what I meant. Now, get Picassa downloaded, and get you some roof cleaning pictures ? Then, right from Picassa you can Blog the pictures !! Literally creat posts at will aimed at every conceivable keyword It is so simple it should be outlawed !!!! I will send you pictures before and after to get you started ! Let me KNOW when you have Picassa downloaded ??
look at these http://www.roof-cleaning-tampa.com/ Notice at the BOTTOM of the posts the Picassa emblem is displayed ??? That means the posts were originated FROM Picassa.
Now, consider THIS ? Both Picassa and Blogspot BELONG and were CREATED by Google.' Like we love our children, Google loves theirs !! GET IT ?
