If you want to really make it sound like you know what you are doing tell the home owner that the main ingredient in your chemical mix is Dihydrogen Monoxide.
You will not be lying as that is the scientific name for WATER!
Chris there is a guy in Florida that posted about the dangers in his blog and now the local news wants to interview him for a story. Look for it on your local news.
"Son, you can BS for about 15 min. After that you better know something."
Fancy words won't help you!
I do not have to make my customers think I know anything. From the first phone call. The first estimate! The first 5 min I am on the job... Trust me they know!
Do not need big ol fat words to impress them.. I sell myself and the rest is easy! I know my stuff! That is that. If I didn't know my stuff then I would have to use those big ol fat words to slide my way into the job... If you know your stuff Big ol fat words are not not necessary!
They did this on Penn and Tellers Bullsh** (A showtime show) It was to show how gullable enviromentallists can be. They had alot of signers, everyone just ate it up.

I never said anything about BS the customer. As soon as you say that they are going to ask what that is and then you tell them and how you got it and you both can have a good laugh.
So does that mean you say bleach instead of sodium hypochlorite? Mine is going to be Sodium hypochlorite but when asked I will tell them that this is the main active ingredient in bleach. That's what gives it the smell.
What we're saying is be straight forward, make it simple, and do a good job ,we,re here to help not argue thats why this forum was started. Peace be with US
Just some FYI, the tearm bleach is used for any chemical that lightens or removes color. So Sodium hypochlorite can be described as a type of bleach, not bleach itself. Unfortuenttly most people do not realize this info.
