I just had an idea for some free advertising and I am going to pursue it as soon as I get back to Clarksville.
We have a weekly local radio show every Saturday morning 7 - 9 am on the largest talk radio station in the Middle Tennessee area. It is called "At Home with Josh Carey and David Bates" and they discuss everyting from the foundation to plumbing to landscaping and roofing.
I am going to pitch the idea of me coming on for a segment and have them pump questions and maybe get some home owners calling in.
Way to get quick exposure and piss off a lot of roofing contractors. May have to get a new rig quickly after the show....LOL
These guys are a hoot to listen to - Once a lady called in and asked when it was to late to transplant a tree from a pot to the ground and David replied "Around 6 pm after that it gets too dark to see what you are doing."
Just wondering what your opinions would be and maybe some suggestions.
Now I am aware that you have to supply questions for the hosts and here are a few I found on another forum
1) What sets you apart from your competition?
2) What are the benefits of having a roof cleaned?
3) What will happen if a roof isn't cleaned?
4) Money is tight for many people just now, why should/would someone want to have their roof cleaned?
5) How often does a roof need to be cleaned?
6) What does a roof cleaning cost?
7) What are those black marks on a roof and are they bad for the roof?
8) I've heard that the chemicals used can damage paint and landscaping, how do you avoid this?
9) There are so many horror stories of roof cleaners damaging roofs, how does your company avoid this?
10) What other services do you offer?
Any others you can provide would be great. Maybe we can do this more than once a year. Maybe you can take this idea and run with it in your local areas.
