Exhausting vacation though, we all ran the 10K Cooper River Bridge Run.

My best time was in 2004. 10K (6.2 miles) in 47 minutes.
Wow, looks like you had a great time ? Every place I go in the USA, I try to sample the local BBQ if time permits I HAD some South Carolina BBQ here in Florida made by a guy from Charleston area It was different, had a Mustard Based Sauuce I guess sour BBQ is common in the Carolina's, because I know they use Vinegar in NC ?
To ME, BBQ is a combination of heat and smoke cooking the Meat
Here is Florida, the meat is merely smoked, and they CALL that BBQ ?
I will NOT eat a boiled pork rib either!
Now, boiling a pork rib for a FEW minutes, then BBQ it OK, but here in Florida, some places COOK the ribs by boiling them, then slap em in a smoker, and CALL that chit BBQ !!
I send that stuff BACK, refuse to eat it, and NEVER go back there
Thanks guys. I'm not a spring chicken like I once was. That race doesn't get any easier every year I go. I think about retiring from running and just chill, but nah, I'll tough it out. It gives me inspiration to train and try to stay in good shape.
