Just for the heck of it, I checked some Pressure Washing videos on YouTube.
In one, the guy is blasting away on shingles and claiming no damage to his 20 year old shingles?? Ya, Right!
As long as homeowner have no better advice than these things, us pros will look like magicians to them!
We can clean their shingle roofs and not remove hardly a granule!
They will blow off 5 years worth of life with each pressure washing endeavor!
Ofg course, sooner or later, fall off the roof and wish they had paid an average of $100 - $200.00 a year to maintain a clean roof= Figuring about $400.00 every 4-5 years, to do it right and not destroy the shingles!
Watch these-if you can take it!!! no

Carter's Youtube advice was soooooo terrible, that I removed it, so as not to corrupt any minds! smile.gif

Hey guys i AM new to no pressure roof cleaning but I AM SOLD!!!! This is the new wave. I spoke with a ho a few weeks ago who was cleaning his own roof using low pressure (chicken sprayer and chem from lowes) I drove by his house today and he was still at it doing an allright job while tied off with a 1/4 inch rope over the peak of his roof to a tree in the back yard........ at what point is it worth paying someone so you dont fall and break your neck??? Some people!
