Business catch phrase
Permalink

I'm starting a new division of my home improvement company for roof cleaning and I'm trying to come up with a new catch phrase for it. I do a lot of TV adds now ,and know the power of advertising.  A good catch phrase is a must. There is a local co. here in WV that has the catch phrase "I cann't call you, you have to call me". They do concrete work but, this will work with any business. Everyone  knows his adds, they are easy to remember. This guys adds are funny, he advertises that he takes only 2 holidays , Christmas and Groundhog day. Why? because " I like groundhog".  From what I have read here , most of us are far enough apart to use  catch prases from other areas. Our advertising will not overlap. If you know of a good one that I could use ,I would like to here it. You guys are far enough away from Wheeling to use his. When a customer hears "I cann't call you ,you have to call me" they do!

Thanks guys, I will try them out on employees and friends. Anyone that hasn't put there advertising together yet should take a hard look at "I can't call you, you have got to call me"It makes sense, and is easy to remember. Are there any good phrases out there that you wish you would have thought of? If so, I would like to here them. Thanks Dan

I was kinda thinking on them terms mike but i  was going to follow it up  with

" Call us now or call us later"
Cause i  was a roofing contractor in my  younger days of coarse i would sub the roof out today.. but that thought  has crossed my  mind

I' m working on a few myself:

"Put an end to Streaking in your neighborhod"

"We couldn't help but notice you're not cleaning those hard to reach areas"

'Leave it to us, the professionals,
so you don't hit the roof - or the ground"

"don't replace it, reNEW it" (Obviously becasue of the co. name)

If you are targeting strictly roof cleaning, you could use a number of phrases. the one on the roof cleaning flyer on my site has worked wonders for me. So good I now have it copyrighted. For total cleaning, we use "The First Choice for Quality Cleaning"

There's a reason we're the first choice, and there's a reason that slogan was coined. Anyone know why? this is a good marketing question.

This one is NOT Mine, but it is a Classic.

"So, What's EATING Your Roof" ?

This was invented by my good friend  AC Lockyer of Mallard Systems out of Orlando, Florida.

They had this Question as their headline on a nice flyer/doorhanger they passed out in neighborhoods.

I dont recall ALL the words, but the Flyer talked about how Algae and Mildew were feeding on your roof like an "all you can eat buffet"biggrin

It also talked about how a plant can "break through concrete", so imagine what those Algae Filaments were doing to your shingle granules cry

This is CLASSIC Roof Cleaning Sales 101 Guys wink

Give the potential customers the "headache", then present the "Aspirin"wink

Maybe IF you ask AC from Mallard REAL Nice

He might still have some of these old Doorhangers around ?

AC is MUCH too humble IMHO.

This Man BUILT the largest roof cleaning operation EVER  seen.

He is a GENIUS at marketing roof cleaning.

We are very fortunate to have him "on staff" here at the RCIA Forum !

Tucker, I use that on all my flyers. "What's Eating Your Roof?" has been a good interest builder.

It sure worked for Mallard Systems, they had 44 roof cleaning trucks in the day!
Me, I am so established in the Tampa Roof Cleaning market I no longer have to rustle up roof cleaning business anymore.
After awhile, people will seek out your roof cleaning services, once you become a known expert in your area.
Now, we simply answer the phone, and write roof cleaning work orders!
Hell, it is Sunday, and I wrote 785.00 in business this morning!
WHAT "Recession" ??
