This home in Tampa Palms belongs to a prominent Tampa Doctor.
It is on the North side of Bruce B Downs in the newer section of Tampa Palms.
It was almost 4000 sq feet, but hard to tell from the front of the house.
It goes WAY back on the lot.
When we were done cleaning this tile roof, we rang the door bell.
The house goes so far back I guess they didn't hear the door bell ring, LOL
They were surprised at how quickly we finished cleaning their roof.
The nice owners were also surprised how nice the tile roof looked after a good cleaning.
Nothing like a white tile roof Larry, especially when it is clean.
The wife of the doctor said she was going to tell her friends, who also got letters from the Tampa Palms Homeowners Association.
One of her friends used a Tampa Pressure Washing Company.
The idiots used a huge surface cleaner on her friends roof, and cracked a bunch of roof tiles.
Not to mention all the tiles they made loose by the surface cleaner smacking up against them.
It NEVER ceases to amaze me how nice, but uninformed potential customers shop for tile roof cleaning like they are buying a car ?
How someone living in a 1/2 million dollar home would let "whoever's cheapest" clean their tile roof ?
Don't they realize they get what they pay for ?
Sometimes they get MORE then they pay for, like cracked, busted up tiles, stripped glaze from the high pressure washing, and enlarged pores in cement tiles.
These enlarged pores in the cement roof tiles cause water to be retained more easily, and the roof tiles need cleaned more often as a result.

Plus, the high pressure washing seldom KILLS the Algae spores.
I CRINGE when I see a tile roof cleaned using High Pressure Washing.
You know Larry, some roof tiles are not even made anymore.

What a bummer to be able to afford a beautiful  Tampa Palms Home with a tile roof, only to have your roofing tiles busted up and cracked by some Hack Pressure Washer ?

Just think about the "joy" of living in a 1/2 million dollar home with jury rigged tiles that do not match the original tile roof, all to save a few dollars ?
