That is a great idea Chris.

I have done a couple jobs for elderly people that I was told that could not afford to pay for cleaning so I did the job and told them that to not worry about it, it is free.

 Great way to get new customers ,gives them a good feeling about you ,i've done charity work for years and it makes you feel great also. the pay back is always there good luck, Vinny

Agreed. My thinking is that I would be paying them for advertising with the free cleaning. This is a large church and they can afford to pay. I am just starting and need to get my name out there quickly before all my money runs out. Just getting laid off and all.

Other free cleaning would be just as you described, help a small church or the elderly. Helping an individual would give you the greatest sense of satisfaction.

Just entertaining ideas and I would gladly listen to any thrown my way. Until I can get some before and after pictures of my own I need to brainstorm on how to do this at as low a cost as possible so I can add them to my web site and other media.

Any ideas, I'm open to suggestions.

Here is an IDEA!

We here at Roof Clean USA make a "can't afford it list or file" and update it regularly and keep it handy for the next time we have a LARGE job and we mix up more Apple cider/sauce roof cleaning agent than we can use.

We put all the REAL, KIND, genuinely well meaning homeowners, and others we do demo's or free estimates for that just can't, swing the cost of a roof cleaning at that very moment, into this LIST.

When we have a substantial amount of LEFT OVER cleaning agent and we don't have anything coming up for later that day or the next day we do the next best thing to disposing of it which helps nobody.

This happens more often than you think.

Instead of wasting it, we use it to our and a needy family, elderly person or churches advantage.

When this occurs, break out your trusty "can't afford it list" and start calling.

Here is what we do. We tell them the truth, that we had a job that ended in our not using all the roof cleaning solution and, because it has a relatively SHORT shelf life once mixed into solution we would be happy to help them out and PAY IT FORWARD and come by and perform their roof cleaning now at a reduced rate, usually 1/2 to 3/4 of the quoted cost, as a offer of charitable goodwill.

There is a benefit to both you and the property owner.

They get a needed service that they may have been putting off and you get a DOUBLE benefit of having a DEEP sense of satisfaction of knowing you did a good deed and helped someone struggling financially in today's tough economic business climate and your solution does not go to waste.

Plus, you do a little bit more to get the word out that your a company that  CARES by free word of mouth advertising which will naturally happen over time.

It's a WIN_WIN!
